COBRAS TO RETURN TO THE P.A.F.L.
CLEVELAND, OHIO
After being on hiatus for several years, the Premiere Amateur Football League (PAFL) will return in 2025 and the Cleveland Cobras will return as well. After annual playoff appearances in the Tri-Point Football League, the Cobras will return to the PAFL where they last made a PAFL Championship appearance in 2015. The PAFL is currently in the vetting process for teams that will comprise the newly reformed league and may include in excess of 30 teams. 15 teams had made commitments to the PAFL as of the time of this release including;
the Ohio Broncos (Akron, OH), the Glass City Tigers (Toledo, OH), the Flag City Phantoms (Findlay, OH), Portsmouth Lions (Portsmouth, OH), Mid-Ohio Patriots (Mt. Vernon, OH), the Ohio Outlaws (Cleveland, OH), the Cuyahoga Falls Rapids (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), the Steel City Bobcats (Pittsburgh, PA), Tri-County Rams (Western PA), the West Virginia Leviathan (Buckhannon, WV), the Mahoning Valley Federals (Youngstown, OH), Beaver County Arctic Bengals (Beaver County, PA), Appalachian Thunder (Elkins, WV), and the Stark County Wolfpack (Canton, Ohio).
